SUMMARY:
Our external client based in JHB-CBD is looking for a Planning/Scheduling Specialist with proven working experience in project management, strong in planning and scheduling as well as implementing mining infrastructure solutions

POSITION INFO:

Education & Qualification

Undergraduate qualification in a relevant IT Discipline.
Proven working experience in project management, strong in planning and scheduling.
3-5 years working experience business infrastructure implementations for mining infrastructure solutions
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge digitisation in the workplace.
Familiarity with mining and mining concepts, practices and procedures

Role Responsibilities

Assist the services team in supporting the updating of weekly planning documents -Do the Initial Design of the Scheduling and Feedback process
Across all sites, ensure that site work is specified in terms of What, How and Who with Safety as a priority.
Ensure all work is Approved
Work with support teams in managing the strategic priority of tasks per work area, with focus on the infrastructure activities.
Assist in the integration planning work with other infrastructure projects being implemented on site;
Review and closeout tasks weekly.
