SUMMARY:
A market leader in the manufacturing space is currently in the market for a qualified Chartered Accountant to take up a role as a Financial Controller. The ideal candidate must have five years’ experience in the manufacturing sector.

POSITION INFO:

A market leader in the manufacturing space is currently in the market for a qualified Chartered Accountant to take up a role as a Financial Controller. The ideal candidate must have five years’ experience in the manufacturing sector.

Qualifications and Experience:

• CA(SA) or CIMA complete
• 4-5 Years’ experience in a plant environment
• Manufacturing or Plant experience (essential)
• SAP ERP system (essential)
• Standard costing experience
• Budgeting and forecasting experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare the final budget and financial forecast for the plant
• Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance of division departments
• Prepare, monitor, and analyse monthly operating results against budget
• Monitor daily operations of the plant and its impact on the financial results
• Manage the preparation of financial results, outlooks, and forecasts
• Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations product investment negotiations
• Ensure compliance
• Responsible for maintaining fixed assets controls
• Responsible for managing capital budget
• Responsible for plant inventory
