SUMMARY:
A market leader in the manufacturing space is currently in the market for a qualified Chartered Accountant to take up a role as a Financial Controller. The ideal candidate must have five yearsÃ¢Â€Â™ experience in the manufacturing sector.

POSITION INFO:

A market leader in the manufacturing space is currently in the market for a qualified Chartered Accountant to take up a role as a Financial Controller. The ideal candidate must have five years’ experience in the manufacturing sector.

Qualifications and Experience:

CA(SA) or CIMA complete
4-5 Years’ experience in a plant environment
Manufacturing or Plant experience (essential)
SAP ERP system (essential)
Standard costing experience
Budgeting and forecasting experience

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and prepare the final budget and financial forecast for the plant
Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance of division departments
Prepare, monitor, and analyse monthly operating results against budget
Monitor daily operations of the plant and its impact on the financial results
Manage the preparation of financial results, outlooks, and forecasts
Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations product investment negotiations
Ensure compliance
Responsible for maintaining fixed assets controls
Responsible for managing capital budget
Responsible for plant inventory
