Plant Engineer

SUMMARY:
A reputable orgnaisation is looking for a Plant Engineer. They will be responsible for the day to day engineering service and support in the Tailings, Sinter, Ore Processing Plant and Infrastructure, with a 5 year planning horizon. 

Responsible for the co-ordination and management of Equipment, Machinery, Plant and Infrastructure with maintenance programmes on the mine in terms of the relevant legislation such as the MHSA.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Degree / B.Tech (NQF level 7) in Mechanical Engineering
• Certificate: GCC (minerals & works) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Advanced computer literacy
• Previous experience in Planned preventative maintenance systems

Minimum Experience

• minimum of 3 years operational Engineering maintenance management experience within the mining environment
• minimum of 2 years management experience 
• minimum of 2 years operational project management experience
• at least 2 years engineering experience on concentrator/ reclamation plant with three years at line management 
• previous experience in Planned preventative maintenance systems
• total of nine years'' experience required
