Plant Engineer (GCC Factories)

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and a sound heavy industry engineering background.

POSITION INFO:

This person must be energetic, with a passion for continuous improvement, quality workmanship and safety.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful applicant will be required to meeting the following minimum requirements:

• National Diploma / Mechanical /Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Government Certificate of Competency (GCC Factories).
• Minimum 10 years in a heavy engineering environment.
• Proven ability to effectively manage capital projects and plant modifications.
• Asset management and condition-based monitoring experience.
• Good understanding of milling and diffuser operations and maintenance.
• Knowledge and experience on food safety standards (ISO 22000) will be an added advantage
• Knowledge and experience on planned maintenance system.
• Good technical fault-finding / problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate the Maintenance and operations teams.
• Knowledge and extensive experience Microsoft Office
• Excellent people management /leadership skills and communication skills.

Key Result Areas:

• Operation and maintenance of Agri product Preparation, Extraction and De-watering Mill plants.
• Implementation of planned maintenance and routine maintenance strategies to improve plant availability.
• Controlling of maintenance and operating budgets for both season and off-crop.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and implementing effective safety procedures.
• Investigating problems and propose competent technical solutions.
