SUMMARY:
Our client, a large manufacturing concern seeks a Plant Finance Controller to control the financial and administrative functions for their 3 Manufacturing Plants, in line with the Business Unit objectives.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:

B.Com (Accounting) or similar.
Min 5 years automotive manufacturing experience.

Key Performance Areas:

General financial management.
Financial strategy.
Operational budgets and forecasts.
Prepare financial reports and returns.
Review weekly sales reports.
Review and authorise journal entries.
Prepare and plan year end statutory audit deliveries.
Prepare and update corporate tax schedules.
Review balance sheet account recons, actioning account variances.
Cash management.
Prepare Forex forecasts and authorise foreign payments.
Maintain the Fixed Asset register and Risk register.
Compile the BU/Plants Capex reports.
Costing functions.
Statutory returns.
Creditors and debtors management.
