SUMMARY:
Global Company requires a Plant Manager to oversee and develop production systems in their factory

POSITION INFO:
Essential Requirements:

Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred, or BTech Professional Level 5
Membership of an Industry related Professional body would be advantageous
Able to demonstrate experience of working within a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD
In depth knowledge and experience of, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Lean Manufacturing techniques such as Six Sigma
Experience of New Product Introduction, reworking design changes and upgrades through to production
Experience managing a team

Duties and Responsibilities:

Dedicated manufacturing engineer with 5+ years of experience in planning & designing processes
Improve product quality and reduce costs leading to savings.
Improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Assure product and process quality by designing quality testing methods.
Analyse and report on production processes, methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, availability of machines and waste management.
Be an independent thinker and keen problem-solver.
Train staff
