Plant Manager

Plant Manager required for a large water treatment company based in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

• Optimise the use of financial resources by minimising cost (including stock control and efficient chemical dosing).
• Manage and maintain ISO 9000, 14001 and 18001 systems and work procedures by monitoring and developing training actions and new procedures as required.
• Compliance to contractual quality and quantity KPI’s.
• Ensure client satisfaction by delivering a professional and high-quality service.
• Monitor plant health and pro-actively intervene to ensure plant availability is optimised

Requirements:

• BSc Chem Eng or S4 Chem Eng diploma.
• Skilled in Water and Effluent Water Management as well as being able to analyse, interpret data pertaining to optimize plant health and equipment life span of e.g., Reverse osmosis membranes.
• Relevant management experience.
• Sound and correct understanding of equipment preventative maintenance and reliability concepts.
• Proven record of satisfactory prior performance.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, data base, power point and e-mail.
• Good communication and Interpersonal skills.
• Skills in planning, attention to detail and process troubleshooting.
