Plant Manager

Primary purpose of the job

To manage the operation on site ensuring production targets are achieved, efficiently and effectively within the quality standards, according to the established quality and risk system, and according to customer requirements

Knowledge required

• Take responsibility for operations planning
• Managing plant budgets
• Take responsibility for manufacturing activities
• Ensure customer requirements & quality standards are met
• Ensure health, safety, security & plant maintenance regulations are met
• Manage & support quality standards of the operation in line with the overall Management System
• Manage & supervise department managers
• Set & ensure that operational targets are met

Minimum Qualifications/Experience Required

• National Diploma or Degree in Technology Management/Engineering/Production
• Min 10 years’ experience in automotive production management
• Min 5 years’ experience in plant management
