SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Established concern in the Textile industry is seeking an experience Plant Production Manager to oversee the plant.

Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth running of the plant and production targets are met
Continuous improvement
Ensure KPI’s are met
Management of staff
Assess training requirements
Attend to disciplinary matters
Inventory control
Ensure safe working conditions and the application of safe working practices in all areas of the department.

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Production Management or Textile Technology
Woven and/or non-woven fabrics experience
Technical knowledge of knitting machines will be an added advantage
5 - 10 years’ manufacturing experience
