Role is responsible for the post investment advisory

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Exciting opportunity to join an investments team with a focus on social / impact investment opportunities.

This team is passionate and focused on making an impact in South Africa and working with promising entrepreneurs, and are looking for a suitable candidate to join them and be responsible for the post investment review of businesses, provide support, reducing operational risks, improving efficiencies etc. You'll provide input on tools, introduce best practice frameworks etc.

Responsibilities

Involved in post investment advisory
Review and critique portfolio businesses
Facilitate any learning in the processes and operational structures for business founders in value creation and growth
Implement and create processes and frameworks for early stage and growing businesses, ensuring operational strengths
Work closely with founding members for any risks and inefficiencies
Input on any operational and commercial success of these early-stage businesses
Support post investment teams in the overall experience for all parties

Requirements

Minimum of a completed finance / commerce related degree qualification
Minimum of 5 years in the start-up development space, at a management level
MSOffice literate
Passionate about impact investing in South Africa
Excellent team player with strong relationship building skills
Good levels of EQ and professionalism
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Ability to work on various projects at a time
