PBT Group has an opportunity for a Power BI Developer

Duties:

• The role is more than just technical development
• Developing data models for our global data warehouses and big data initiatives.
• You will work closely with data engineers, architects, data scientists and business SMEs to create data models that can fulfill the Management Information / analytical requirements from the business.
• Develop Collections MI Dashboards and Reports meeting stakeholder requirements

Experience:

• Hands on Hadoop data management solution development experience
• You have a nose for data quality issues and find joy in automating the detection and resolution of these issues
• You find pride in developing robust, yet versatile, highly testable and deployable solutions.
• You are pro-active and on top of the latest developments in tooling and collaboration techniques like Mob Programming and Agile development
• You spot opportunities to reduce repetitive work with automation
• You take ownership and are a team player with good communication skills.
• You enjoy bringing your less experienced colleague’s along with the journey and seeing them grow.
• You have a DevOps mindset.
• You can handle the pressure of stakeholders and their expectations.
• Data visualization / front-end development.
• Data Science practitioner
• Knowledge of BCBS239 regulations or a similar regulations program
• Knowledge of debt management processes an advantage
• Python and SQL programming.
• Building data pipelines and managing them in a production environment.
• API and architecture design in the context of data, analytical processing and workflow orchestration.
• DevOps tooling like test automation.
• Knowledge and experience with release management to analytical production environments.

Qualifications/ Certification:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a subject with a clear analytical component and 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong MI & visualization tools knowledge with more than 5 years’ experience leading the implementation of MI solutions
