Power Electronics Hardware Engineer

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test power electronic circuits including DC-DC converters, inverters, and motor drives.
• Select and evaluate components such as IGBTs, MOSFETs, gate drivers, transformers, and capacitors.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and design for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with embedded systems, mechanical, and systems engineers on integrated designs.
• Conduct simulations (e.g., SPICE, LTspice, PLECS) to verify and optimize designs.
• Support product testing, debugging, and validation activities in the lab.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety and EMC standards.

🧠 What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in power electronics hardware development.
• Strong understanding of power semiconductor devices and magnetics.
• Experience with simulation tools and hardware debugging instruments (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, etc.).
• Familiarity with thermal and EMI/EMC considerations in power design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
