Pre-Sales Consultant (JB2229)Edenvale (East Rand)Market Related Basic + CommissionDuration: 3-month Probation onto a 6 month ContractA well-established, 100% Black owned ICT and Security consulting company that was formed in 2013 is looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant. The company has excellent resources with a wealth of experience in ICT & Security Systems consulting services. The DGT has identified business opportunities in the ICT & Security Systems, and they are positioning themselves to optimally explore opportunities created in this industry and going forward, they would like to position themselves as service providers of choice to their customers with regard to ICT & Security Systems services around the globe.Minimum Requirements:Proven experience as an ICT Presales or equivalentGrade 12 qualification or equivalentValid Driver’s licenseAdded advantage with sales/administrative qualifications2+ years’ experience in the sales divisionProficiency in EnglishExcellent knowledge of MS Office and graphsHands-on experience with CRM software will be an added advantageThorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniquesBe able to work with cultural diversity and adapt to change in the workplaceFast learner and passion for salesSelf-motivated with a results-driven approachAptitude in delivering attractive presentationsTrained in Enterprise sales and public sector salesAbility to do frequent customer health CheckDomain Expertise:Telecom & FibreFintechTechnology Expertise:Cyber SecurityCloud ComputingFibre and TelecomDuties and Responsibilities:Conduct market research/analysis to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.Analyse tender specifications requirements, and utilise checklist to ensure complianceBe able to initiate outsourcing of required tender opportunity skills.Conduct aftersales marketing.Conduct customer health check and engage with stakeholders.Utilise PNET to identify potential bidding opportunities.Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media – effective utilisation of Digital Platforms.Set up meetings with potential clients and engage on their products needs and demandsBe able to arrange tender responds document neatly and effectively, in a timely manner without delaysPrepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations.Make follow up on customer stock deliveries after being awarded a purchase orderParticipate and attend on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferencesNegotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objectionsCollaborate with technical team members to ensure deliveryGather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teamsAble to close the end-to-end sales loopMaintain Customer retention and relationUpsell and Cross selling abilityCreate brand image and reputation of the companyUtilise the company allocated allowances to entertain potential companies, with the view of marketing and sales.Willing to travel
