Main Job Purpose:
Provide technical expertise during the sales process for hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) and virtualization solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and showcasing the value of our offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Engagement:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and understand client requirements for HCI and virtualization solutions.
- Conduct discovery sessions to gather technical and operational needs from clients.
- Design and propose tailored HCI and virtualization solutions that meet client objectives.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase our HCI and virtualization offerings.
Solution Design and Proposal:
- Create detailed solution architectures for HCI and virtualization deployments, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Develop high-quality proposals, including technical specifications, cost estimations, and justifications.
- Ensure proposed solutions adhere to industry best practices and standards.
Vendor and Technology Expertise:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HCI and virtualization technologies from Dell, Huawei, HPE, Nutanix, and VMware.
- Stay informed about product updates and new releases from vendors.
- Leverage vendor resources, tools, and incentive programs to optimize solution design and pricing.
Customer Engagement:
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, addressing questions and concerns about HCI and virtualization solutions.
- Provide insights into how these solutions can improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance trust and satisfaction.
Collaboration with Sales and Technical Team:
- Partner with the sales team to strategize and close deals involving HCI and virtualization solutions.
- Work closely with post-sales teams to ensure smooth deployment and implementation of solutions.
- Provide feedback to product teams based on customer interactions and emerging market needs.
Requirements:
Minimum Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications in HCI and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware VCP, Dell VxRail, Nutanix NCP, HPE ASE, Huawei HCIA).
Minimum Desired Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in pre-sales or technical support for HCI and virtualization solutions.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing HCI solutions with integration into virtualized environments.
- Experience working with sales teams to create and present technical proposals to clients.
Minimum Desired Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of HCI platforms such as Dell VxRail, Huawei HCI, HPE SimpliVity, and Nutanix.
- Expertise in virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere, vCenter, and vSAN.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
