SUMMARY:
Become part of a world-class Precision Engineering company with a global footprint and be responsible for the technical direction and business guidance to the engineering team.

POSITION INFO:
Executes, directly or through subordinates, the technical work required to develop and industrialise new products, improve current products or reduce costs of existing products without compromising the quality. Ensures adequate manufacturing/testing equipment and processes are utilised in the plant.

Experience

8 years minimum experience gained within an engineering environment
Proven record of design experience in fine mechanics
Min 5 years management experience in a fast-moving production environment

Qualification:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with fine mechanics design experience

Knowledge and understanding of product manufactured and technologies employed
Knowledge of company ERP system and other company systems
Proficient computer skills – MS Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, Solid Edge, Auto CAD

Organizational and planning ability
Mentoring and coaching skills
