My client is looking for a Press / Injection Moulding Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Skills

Experience in a moulding department or environment
Attention to Detail
Good People Skills
Strong Personality
Injection Moulding Experience
Compression Moulding Experience
Planning Skills
Knowledge of LEAN and 5S in manufacturing
Experience in a rubber manufacturing environment will be beneficial

Essential Duties

Supervises all functions within the Moulding/Press Area to ensure timely and efficient production output
Main responsibilities include scheduling and prioritizing of all Moulding Department functions within the areas of housekeeping, production making, problem solving and planning.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the work done by carrying out these job responsibilities in accordance with the organization''''s policies and applicable laws.
Ensuring that realistic targets are set for individuals within the department and that they are met when agreed to.

Assigning and directing work
Rewarding and disciplining employees
Addressing complaints
Safety and resolving problems
