Pricing Specialist – Freight Forwarding & Clearing

Our client, a leader in the logistics and freight forwarding space, is seeking an experienced Pricing Specialist to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop tailored pricing solutions and strategies for freight movement requests across multi-modal transport (air, sea, road).
• Accurately prepare, record, and report on all sales estimates in a timely manner.
• Maintain and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring all are consistently met and reported.
• Prepare and submit detailed quarterly reports to management.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient communication.
• Ensure full compliance with the company’s quality management system and all relevant operational procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
• A minimum 3-year NQF Level 5 certificate in Import/Export, Freight Forwarding, or a related qualification.
• At least 7 years of experience in pricing and estimates within the freight forwarding and clearing industry.
• Strong understanding of freight documents, procedures, and practices.
• Proficiency in multi-modal logistics (air, sea, and road freight).
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proven customer service orientation and the ability to deliver solutions under pressure.
