Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic pricing solutions for freight movement that are both competitive and commercially viable
- Monitor and report on sales estimates, key performance indicators (KPIs) and quarterly performance metrics to drive business results
- Maintain seamless communication with clients and internal teams to ensure pricing accuracy, service excellence, and compliance with industry standards
- Oversee and ensure consistency in multi-modal estimates, keeping data sharp, relevant and aligned with market conditions
Job Experience and Skills Required:- Matric with Mathematics
- Relevant NQF Level 5+ qualification (or equivalent)
- 7+ years of multi-modal estimating experience within the freight forwarding industry
- Strong background in freight forwarding, clearing documentation, rates management and tender processes
- High numeracy and analytical skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel
- Proven ability to manage complex pricing and estimation tasks, with an in-depth understanding of international logistics and freight processes
