We are looking for a highly accomplished Principal .NET Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and continuous enhancement of enterprise-grade .NET applications. As a Principal Engineer, you will play a key role in defining architecture, establishing development standards, and driving the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across web, desktop, and mobile platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, influence technical direction, and mentor engineers to promote engineering excellence and best practices throughout the organization.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Design, architect, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, and related Microsoft technologies. Lead the development and implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable applications across web, mobile, and desktop environments. Establish and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, architectural principles, and development methodologies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including the implementation and optimization of CI\/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Solve complex technical challenges relating to application performance, scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability. Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineering teams, fostering innovation, knowledge sharing, and professional growth. Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and development tools to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of the .NET ecosystem. Contribute to technical strategy, architectural roadmaps, and long-term technology planning aligned with business objectives. Participate in solution design, code reviews, technical governance, and architecture discussions to maintain quality and consistency across projects. Required Experience & Qualifications Experience Minimum of 10 years' professional software development experience , with at least 7 years focused on .NET technologies . Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale software solutions using .NET Core, ASP.NET, and C# . Demonstrated success leading complex software projects and influencing technical strategy within development teams. Technical Expertise Extensive knowledge of .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, and Entity Framework . Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and design principles, including: Domain-Driven Design (DDD) Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS) Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Event-Driven Architecture Advanced experience in application performance optimization, scalability planning, security implementation, and system reliability. Strong proficiency in modern DevOps practices, including CI\/CD pipelines, automated deployments, containerization, and infrastructure automation. Experience working with Docker and associated cloud-native development practices. Highly Desirable Skills Extensive hands-on experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI . Strong expertise in building modern web applications using Blazor Server and\/or Blazor WebAssembly . Advanced frontend development skills using: HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript React Angular Leadership & Problem-Solving Proven ability to lead engineering teams, mentor developers, and guide technical decision-making. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a history of resolving complex technical challenges in mission-critical environments. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Advantageous Experience Experience with Xamarin or other cross-platform mobile development frameworks. Knowledge of SignalR and real-time application development. Contributions to open-source projects, technical communities, or industry thought leadership initiatives. Relevant Microsoft certifications or additional technical certifications. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered. Postgraduate qualifications and professional certifications are advantageous.
