JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the packaging industry, has an opportunity available for a Print Operator to be based in the Pretoria area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Matric
Must be computer literate
Must be able to speak, read and write English
Must have Worked in a similar environment previously.
Must have worked on a Flexographic CI Printing press for at least 5 Years.
Must not be colour-blind
Must be able to work weekend and shifts
Must understand printing terminology and how to fix flexographic problems that may arise in a working environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate a Flexo printing press efficiently
Follow established systems, policies, and procedures
Ensure availability of all documents prior to commencing a job including a signed sample
Anilox rollers, Print equipment, printing sleeves & plates are clean at all times and are the responsibility off all on shift
Run the job to completion, documenting the ins and output weights
Produce quality printing on the correct substrate
