SUMMARY:
My client is seeking a talented and experienced Process Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and expertise in Mineral Processing practices. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing the mineral extraction processes, driving efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and sustainability.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and optimize mineral processing systems to maximize efficiency and output.
Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and analyses to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, research and development, and management to develop and implement process improvements.
Monitor and analyze process performance data, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all aspects of process design and operation.
Provide technical support and expertise to operational teams, assisting with troubleshooting and optimization efforts.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5+ of experience in mineral processing, preferably in a manufacturing or mining environment.
Strong understanding of mineral processing principles, practices, and technologies.
Proficiency in process simulation software and other relevant engineering tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
