SUMMARY:
We are seeking a results-driven and analytical Process Engineer to optimise manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives within a production environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, quality compliance, and cost-effective production.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Analyse current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop, implement, and monitor process optimisation strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies.
Monitor production performance metrics and generate reports on efficiency, waste, downtime, and quality trends.
Conduct root cause analysis on process failures, defects, and inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
Support new product introduction by developing process flows, SOPs, and work instructions.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to improve plant performance.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Assist with equipment selection, commissioning, and process validation.
Participate in capital projects and plant optimisation initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Process Engineer within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of production systems, process flow design, and manufacturing best practices.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (certification advantageous).
Proficiency in data analysis and MS Office (strong Excel skills required).
Experience working with ERP or production management systems (advantageous).
Understanding of ISO quality systems and health & safety regulations.
