JOB SUMMARY:
Our client based in Australia - specialised in the design, construction and operation of mineral processing plants require technical experts to join the team in Australia.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Being a key part of the onsite Operations Team as well as the Integrated Engineering Support Team based in Queensland Australia.
Providing site based technical process support to our various site in Australia.
Achievement of optimum performance and identify and progress modification opportunities to increase plant throughput and efficiency.
Being heavily involved in the daily operation of the plant by providing technical support to the site Operations Team in order to optimise throughput and yield.
Be responsible for implementing operating strategies and identifying opportunities for improvement whilst managing and monitoring plant performance on a routine basis.
Be responsible for conducting sampling test work programs in order to assess plant and circuit performance and identify areas for process improvement.
Work with other Process Engineers both in Brisbane and at other sites.
Requirement to travel to site and interact with the site Operations team.

To be successful in this role you will require:

Bachelor of Engineering (Metallurgy, Minerals Processing or Chemical Engineering)
National Higher Diploma with min 4 years in above experience.
Degree with 2 + years’ experience on-site processing plant operations
Demonstrable experience in process improvement in coal operations
Understanding of coal quality characteristics and impact on plant performance

Opportunities for Graduate degreed Engineers' also available.

Client will assist with sponsoring to Australia for visa/work permit/ min. requirement, is clear police clearance, good English language skills, Degree & work skills as described above.

Estimated salaries in AUD per annum

Graduate Engineers $65,000 to $70,000
Engineer 2 to 4 years' experience $65,000 to $80,000
Engineer 5 to 6 years' experience $80,000 to $100,000
Senior Engineer 8 to 12 years experience $130,000 to $150,000

There is some flexibility depending on other factors in terms of the type of experience, projects or whether they have potential for leadership.
