• Improvement and sustainability of processes
• Ensure process compliance to Quality System

• Quality systems and concepts
• Manufacturing processes (stampings and assemblies)
• Customer Requirements and methodology
• Understanding of a measuring report (robotic assembly of steel and aluminium automotive components) FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control plans and Six Sigma Green Belt
• Robotics - ABB, KUKA
• PLC
• Metrology Process
• Statistical Process Control
• Scrap Management

• Communication & Interpersonal skills
• Laser welding/brazing Planning and organising
• Hemming process Problem solving
• Aluminium and steel manufacturing process Analysis of data
• Root cause analysis Decision making
• Capability studies Customer relationship skills
• Computer skills: MS Projects & MS Excel

• NQF Level 5
• National Diploma in Engineering
• National TQM Certificate
• Qualified Toolmaker/Millwright will be an advantage

• Minimum 5 years of quality experience within the automotive environment.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience within the automotive environment
• Minimum 2 years tool making / Millwright experience
• Minimum 5 years exposure to S.P.C/F.M.K.
• Minimum 3 years management experience of an automotive engineering department
