SUMMARY:
Our client in the recycling industry, has an opportunity available for a Process Technician, to be based in the Eastern Suburbs of Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Grade 12
Qualified N3 mechanical, electrical or millwright or equivalent
Supervisory management course would be ideal
At least 3 – 5 years’ working experience in the similar/same position
Computer Literacy
Knowledge of production procedures

KPAs:

Monitor and record efficiencies and downtime on the relevant production sheets
Monitor all quality and production variances and report these together with any corrective actions to the Production Manager
Monitor mould changes and ensure that they occur in the allowable timeframe
Support maintenance and shift technicians when process changes are required
Ensure all machines are running at set cycle times and/or rated speeds
Ensure machines are maintained according to the job card system
Ensure good general condition of machines
Order and/or follow up on spares ordered with stores or the suppliers
Assist with preventative and breakdown maintenance
Ensure production logs are completed and filed
