Process Technician (Injection Moulding)

Job Requirements:

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 to 5 experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in the injection moulding process, machines, robotics, etc.

Job Description:

• Ensures required process development information accompanies new tooling.
• Interpret processes received and set up new processes to optimize production
• Records and maintains mould and process setup sheets.
• Improves and documents processes on existing moulds, using established systematic techniques.
• Assists in trouble shooting production processes
• Conducts cycle improvement and monitors production cycle times
• Assists with investigations of reject product and the development of corrective actions knowledge of TS 16949 standards, SPC, TQM and GMP’s
• Manage tool changes and start machine start-ups
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and manufacturing personnel
• Ability to manage tool change and quick start up
