SUMMARY:
Purpose of the role:
The Procurement Administrator provides support services to the Mine which is not limited to identifying materials / resources required on site to be procured, drafting of service level agreements, ensuring timeous ordering of stock and materials, and tracking orders

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Requesting of quotation / proposals
Screening of suppliers and contractors
Timeously ordering of stock and material
Control and monitoring of expenses against budget
Tracking of orders and following up on delivery times
Reconciliation of order discrepancies with suppliers
Vendor on-boarding and maintenance
Processing of requisitions and purchase orders
General administration

Qualifications:

Grade 12
Certificate / Diploma in Supply chain or relevant qualification
Computer literate in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Valid driver’s license
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in the mining industry (compulsory)
Good communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge and technical understanding of mining processes
