SUMMARY:
A challenging position for a young Procurement Administrator with at least 2 years experience and a relevant formal Tertiary qualification. Must have experience with ERP System, ideally JD Edwards or Oracle. Good organisational skills are essential.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

  • Must have a Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management Certificate (NQF6), Diploma or Degree.
  • A minimum of two years experience in Procurement.
  • Must be computer literate (MS Excel and MS Word) with speed and accuracy.  Ideally I Google suite.
  • Competency with ERP program, especially Oracle or JD Edwards will be an advantage.
  • Must have good organisational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for keeping the vendors database up to date in the Company ERP system (Latis).
  • Handle the vendor applications process: approvals, follow ups, filling.
  • Administrate the Procurement BEE toolkit: in charge of the updates and submissions to auditors.
  • Assist the buyers when requested to capture Purchase Orders (POs) in Latis.
  • Assist the buyers when requested to file their PO packs.
  • Organise events for the Department (trips, conferences).
  • Assist the Department in any other administrative duties.
  • Authority - Vendors database update including BEE.
  • Maintain efficient filing systems.
  • Maintain a healthy and professional relationship with suppliers.
  • Operate with the highest standards of integrity.
  • Follow the Company''s policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties required by your designated Manager. 
  • Perform all duties to the latest ISO 9001 Requirements.
  • Function as part of a team.
  • Ensure total confidentiality of all information, internal and external, pertaining to the business of the Company, all its Employees and Management.
  • Actively promote a positive working environment and a sense of belonging among all staff.
  • Participate fully in all training interventions  made available  and promote a culture of training and development  within the company.
  • Become   familiar   with,   comply   with   and   promote   all   company   policies,   procedures   and administrative processes.
