SUMMARY:
Our client based in Paarden Eiland is seeking to appoint a Procurement Administrator. The ideal candidate will have experience in the refrigeration or construction sector.

The business partner resides in the UK so flexible working hours in line with the UK business hours is required and additional hours may be required from time to time depending on level of work and deadlines.

Standard working hours: 10h00 – 19h00

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

National Senior Certificate / Matric.
Experience in the refrigeration/construction industry.
Previous procurement experience will be advantageous.
Proficient in Excel and experienced on ERP and other procurement portals.
Organised and the ability to communicate with suppliers and engineers alike.

Other job-specific requirements:

Ability to track orders through various systems and communicate adequately with senior management and the project managers.
Self-starter with the ability able to work independently adhering to all SLAs, and together with various role players based in UK.
Quick learner who is willing to be agile and have a sense of urgency, organised and deadline driven.
Great verbal and written communication skills is essential.
Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in Refrigeration or Mechanical disciplines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Upload costs to various customers portals.
Reconciling Engineers reports in respect of Costs and parts to data loaded on JOB LOGIC.
Deal with customer enquiries regarding job costs.
Source cheapest van stock / parts – this includes various consumables that are used at various sites.
Assist service dept in scheduling jobs on JOB LOGIC.
Quote and organise install for new AC systems in conjunction with an engineer.
Keep clients up to date on the status of jobs.

Source parts required by engineers:

Obtain best pricing/availability.
Placing order on behalf of engineers and updating system in respect of delivery date and pricing.
Follow up on overdue parts as set out on the delivery schedules.
Close off process by sending approved PO to finance for payment.
