SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated Procurement Buyer with at least 1 year of experience to join our team.

POSITION INFO:

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and acquiring goods and services required by the organisation. The position plays a vital role in ensuring cost-effective procurement, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting the efficiency of the supply chain.

Responsibilities
• Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, price, and reliability
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with policies
• Monitor orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with business needs
• Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment
• Assess and manage supplier performance, quality, and compliance
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining standards
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal, and ethical standards

Requirements
• Matric plus relevant qualification (Degree/Certificate/Diploma)
• Minimum 1 year proven procurement/buying experience is non-negotiable
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
