Procurement Executive: Supply Chain

A leader in its field is looking for a Procurement Executive: Supply Chain to join their team. Our Client is a Johannesburg Stock Exchange Listed company based in the East Rand. The role will require travel to Africa & the Middle East. They can be described as a unique & renowned brand. The Procurement Executive: Supply Chain, will hold a strategic position. They will manage cost, relationships & supplier growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team!

Duties:

• Focus on creating & implementing procurement strategy
• Work with supplier management throughout the business
• Build relationships
• Act as the strategic leader to assist teams with problem solving & negotiations
• Regularly review performance
• Assist with the strategic planning for inventory
• Be the key to optimization within the business for manufacturing etc.
• Ensure that teams meet business requirements

Job Experience & Skills Required:

10 years’ experience in Procurement

5 years+ in senior sourcing roles

Executive experience

Relevant Tertiary Qualification (i.e., BCom Procurement)

Postgraduate qualification preferred

Team management
