They are seeking a Procurement Manager who can take ownership of procurement strategy and execution-ensuring the right components, services, and suppliers are secured to support complex, high-stakes engineering projects. 🚀 What You'll Be Doing You'll play a critical role in supporting advanced engineering programmes by managing the full procurement lifecycle: End-to-End Procurement Management Source and procure materials, precision-machined components, consumables, and services Supplier Negotiation & Optimisation Secure the best commercial terms across pricing, quality, delivery, and support Supplier Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with key suppliers Strategic Sourcing Decisions Evaluate suppliers and sourcing channels based on technical and commercial requirements Operational Procurement Execution Manage RFQs, purchase orders, delivery tracking, logistics, claims, and invoicing Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineering, finance, project management, and quality teams Quality & Compliance Oversight Address supplier non-conformances and drive corrective actions Risk Management Develop strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and shortages Supplier Governance Maintain supplier databases, conduct evaluations, and perform audits Cost & Performance Analysis Drive cost improvements and benchmark supplier performance 🎯 What You'll Bring We're looking for a commercially astute professional with strong technical understanding: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field Minimum 2+ years' experience in procurement or supply chain (preferably in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment ) Strong understanding of sourcing within technical\/engineering sectors Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Knowledge of Import\/Export regulations and INCOTERMS Understanding of quality and environmental standards Experience in supplier management, compliance, and inventory processes Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills 🌟 What Sets You Apart Strong commercial judgement and strategic thinking Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines High attention to detail with a drive for excellence Natural relationship builder with strong networking ability Leadership capability and confident decision-making 🧠 The Environment This is a high-performance, detail-driven environment where quality and precision are non-negotiable.
