SUMMARY:
Our client, a market leader in the food and beverage , seeks to employ a Procurement Manager, who is qualified and skilled in procuring and purchasing fresh and perishable goods, with preference to meats, seafood and related products. This role requires a vibrant, motivating negotiator, who has both staff and supplier management excellence experience.

POSITION INFO:

You will have a diploma in Purchasing or Supply Chain, coupled with 5-10 plus years experience in managing a small but fast paced procurement department, procuring raw materials, perishable foods, ingredients and consumables for effective management of the plant.
You will have experience in SAP B1, as well as advanced proficiency in Advanced Excel
You will have a proven track record in problem solving, working under pressure and a solid understanding of the perishable foods sector and working within a cross-functional team in sales, warehousing, demand planning and retail operations
You will be high energy, able to multi-task and ensure procedures and policies are maintain for the highest quality product delivery and food safety.
You will have a clear criminal and credit history, as well as being able to provide contactable references to motivate your application.
