POSITION INFO:

We have an incredible opportunity for a strategic and influential Procurement Professional to join a rapidly growing market-leader in the financial technology sector.

Responsibilities:

Through support from the AP team, manage end to end procurement process
Ensure cost savings through various initiatives and ensure optimization of procurement group strategy
Maintain and improve vendor tendering system including e-bidding platform
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
Responsible for financial and legal due diligence on vendors with support from responsible teams within the group
Drive innovation, improvement and optimization across all procurement related processes within the group
Maintain corporate governance and commitment to KPI''s within procurement
Support the annual budget and forecasting process for procurement

Requirements:

Professional qualification such as CA(SA)/CIMA/SAIPA/MBA ideal, minimum of relevant NQF7 degree
3-5 years'' experience in managing procurement and vendor management functions at a group level in a complex multi-structure financial services organisation
Experience in strategizing and driving cost optimization initiatives
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
strong strategic and analytical thinking ability
Innovative problem-solving skills
Solid business acumen
Self-driven, energetic and committed to self-improvement
