We have an incredible opportunity for a strategic and influential Procurement Professional to join a rapidly growing market-leader in the financial technology sector.

Responsibilities:

• Through support from the AP team, manage end to end procurement process
• Ensure cost savings through various initiatives and ensure optimization of procurement group strategy
• Maintain and improve vendor tendering system including e-bidding platform
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Responsible for financial and legal due diligence on vendors with support from responsible teams within the group
• Drive innovation, improvement and optimization across all procurement related processes within the group
• Maintain corporate governance and commitment to KPI''s within procurement
• Support the annual budget and forecasting process for procurement     

Requirements:

• Professional qualification such as CA(SA)/CIMA/SAIPA/MBA ideal, minimum of relevant NQF7 degree
• 3-5 years'' experience in managing procurement and vendor management functions at a group level in a complex multi-structure financial services organisation
• Experience in strategizing and driving cost optimization initiatives
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
• strong strategic and analytical thinking ability
• Innovative problem-solving skills
• Solid business acumen
• Self-driven, energetic and committed to self-improvement
