Procurement Manager

Job & Company Description:
My client has been operating for over a decade and pride themselves on partnerships with local, under privileged communities. The business has roots in both the opencast and underground environment and are expanding their Procurement team with a Procurement and Contracts Manager.
The successful incumbent with assume responsibility for providing purchasing services that include the adjudication of tenders, placing orders and compiling all contracts and administration.
In addition to this the role would also require settling contract disputes coupled with ensuring compliance with legal and company regulations whilst organising the logistics and ensuring that the procured items are delivered timeously.
Job experience and skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree (3 years) / NQF Level 7 in Procurement, Supply Chain or Business Administration.
• Membership to the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply will be an added advantage.
• 7 yrs experience in a Senior Strategic Role in Procurement and/or Contracts Management within a mining environment.
