Procurement Officer

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry has an opportunity available for a Procurement Officer to be based in the Evander area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Finance / Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Honors advantageous
• 5-10 years’ experience in strategic sourcing or project procurement and contract management
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of procurement practices

KPAs:

• Sourcing of goods and service in line with the Procurement Plan
• Administering the RFI, RFP processes till completion
• Review all tender specifications for compliance with the procurement policy and procedures
• Keep and maintain an audit file for each tender
• Procure goods and services in line with the governance framework
• Contract management
• Report on contract performance in line with agreed targets
• Manage and Implement the BBBEE (ESD) Strategy
• Stakeholder engagement
• Reporting
