A position is available for a Procurement officer in Park Town - Gauteng

Main Purpose of Job:

Optimize the company’s stock holding based on data analysis
Streamline the ordering of stock.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

Com supply chain
BSc/BEng Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical)
1 -2 years’ experience in Supply Chain
Excel
Smartsheet
Power BI
Pastel

Key Performance Areas (Core, essential responsibilities –outputs of the position)

Inventory Management (Order decision making and placement)
Managing Supply Chain KPIs (Cash Flows, Write Offs, Overstocks)
Navigate and maintain an excel procurement model
Foreign and local supplier payments
Management of GRV’s
Tender applications
Communication with third party service providers – Distributor and Freight Forwarder
Liaising with suppliers – forecasts, supplier meetings, negotiations
