R600k - R650k
Contract role with possibility of going permanent in March 2023

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Organize and carry out purchasing activities including the following:

Negotiating with suppliers
Operating as a point of contact for Cooperate Supply Management and coordinate/rollout identified common sourcing strategies
Determining needs and requirements
Analysing, evaluating, and monitoring suppliers
Analysing financial, quality and service levels for main categories
Managing supplier BBBEE levels
Developing and training direct reports or employees within the Organisation involved in the procurement process
Carrying through and maintaining a comprehensive spend overview
Aiding corporate projects on request
Communicating with vendors and internal customers to collate requirements and solve problems.
Executing a standardized tender and contract framework that can be used across the business

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or supply chain management
Minimum of 5 years of procurement (a focus on planning/logistics)
Knowledge of financial principles and data analysis
