Procurement Specialist Greenstone

JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:

The Procurement Specialist will report to the Head of Procurement of the company. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative procurement resource to support the following areas of business: International Logistics, Roadfreight, Warehousing, and Support Functions (Information Office, Business Development, Human Resources, Finance and Legal & Compliance). The Procurement Specialist will assist with guiding and managing the provision of procurement support services, policies, and programs for the entire company, under the guidance of head odf procurement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum B degree or equivalent in Procurement

• Minimum 4 - 6 years in Procurement at a specialist/ middle management level

• Must know and be familiar with the relevant legislation/s

• MS Office, Email, Word, PowerPoint and Excel at progressive level

• Knowledge and drive of BBBEE revised codes

• Procurement system implementation skills

• Logistics experience is not compulsory, but would be an advantage

• Multi-category experience would be advantageous
