JOB SUMMARY:
As the Procurement and Warehouse Manager, you will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. This position ensures that the Department provides its clients with strategic and operational supply chain management services that satisfies their business needs in accordance with policies and organisational objectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Education and Experience:

Minimum Education Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics/ Procurement or equivalent qualification.
Minimum Work Experience 10 years procurement experience of which 5 years should be on Management Level.
Knowledge of Overhead Track Equipment (OHTE), Transmission Line, Substation and general electrical materials will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

Experience in Financial management and reporting
Business planning and acumen
Knowledge of PFMA and relevant national treasury regulations
Strategic management skills
Knowledge of Management information systems
Project management skills
Understanding of applicable legislative frameworks and regulations
Knowledge of BBBEE and PPPFA
Knowledge of the Principles and practice of effective procurement and financial awareness
Knowledge of the Tender process administration and guidelines
Experience in the development of tenders/contracts and requests for proposal documents
Must have a valid Driver’s Licence and own transport
Must be willing to work excessive hours in order to meet or exceed deadlines.
