SUMMARY:
Product Manager

POSITION INFO:
The main purpose of this role is to ensure growth of a specific product through product planning, marketing and sales activities. Responsibility will include managing the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision and working closely with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction.

Functional Competencies:

Business Development
Identify business opportunities and build new business and build and maintain long-term relationships 

Product Training 
Develop internal and external product training plans on the product suite

Market Analysis
Analyse market trends regarding competition, differentiators, pricing, and unique selling points. Analyse external and internal data to identify gaps and opportunities, conducting relevant research studies
Product Forecasting
Prepare product forecasts and constantly monitor inventory levels

Budgeting
Do a budgeting forecast for product activities

Product Life Cycle Management
Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities such as gathering and prioritize the product and customer requirement, defining the vision and working closely with suppliers to deliver winning product and solutions to the market.

Product Marketing
Develop and implement a product marketing strategy using the 4P''sof marketing. Manage a long term roadmap and also drive product marketing activities through advertising, PR, social media and relationship building activities

Sales Management
Actively sell to allocated customer base and new business

Pricing
Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals

Relation Building
Liaison and relationship building with suppliers, sales and finance and marketing

Administration
Develop an SLA for service levels, internal and external queries

Reporting
Monthly product reporting on market trends, positioning, forecasting and revenue
