SUMMARY:
Our client that specialises in the manufacturing industry is currently recruiting for an on the ball Product Manager. The successful candidate will be based in Midrand, Gauteng and will be responsible to ensure that commercial strategies and tactics and objectives are achieved.

POSITION INFO:
Required Qualifications:

Commercial Degree or equivalent.
Postgraduate degree or MBA qualification – would be an advantage.
Minimum 3 years’ experience at middle management level.

Job Responsibilities:

Input to strategy formulation, planning, and execution.
Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures.
Responsible to communicate and interact at all levels of the organisation.
Manage projects.
Develop financial plans.
Responsible to analyse and interpret financial data.
Review and understand the historical context of the product life cycles for the product portfolio.
Ensure relevant product offerings are made available or discontinued where appropriate.
Analysis of market trends.
Development of product marketing and communication.
Conduct periodic reviews of the current product portfolio.
Provide recommendations to the business to ensure the product portfolio is kept efficient and profitable.
Engagement with key customers/other stakeholders.
Responsible for new product developments.
Collation and forecasting of sales statistics.
Develop and monitor competitor database.
