A leading technology distribution business is looking for an experienced Product Manager – HP Consumer to take ownership of the commercial performance, stock management and vendor relationships across a key HP Consumer portfolio.

This is a highly commercial role suited to someone who understands ICT distribution, product management, sales, inventory and profitability and enjoys working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Drive monthly GP, sell-in, sell-out, stock and aged-stock targets Manage product profitability, pricing and margin structures Manage OTB, stock budgets and weeks of inventory Monitor and optimise stock levels across the portfolio Oversee order management and end-to-end logistics processes Produce product costings, pricing and retailer quotations Support sales teams with quotations, listings and commercial input Lead weekly sales meetings and resolve stock-related challenges Manage vendor credits, AP variances and related disputes Build strong relationships with vendors, retailers, customers and internal stakeholders Work closely with HP on product strategy, incentives and promotional programmes Track performance and provide meaningful commercial insights Maintain accurate ERP product codes, pricing and agreements Deliver product and sales training to internal teams Stay abreast of market trends, new products and technology roadmaps. What we're looking for Minimum 3 years' Product Management experience Proven sales track record, preferably within ICT Distribution Minimum 3 years in a target-driven environment At least 2 years' logistics experience Strong experience collaborating with sales teams Proven experience dealing with customers at different organisational levels Strong commercial and administrative capability Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Ability to work with formulas, calculations, Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong interest in technology and IT products Highly organised, self-motivated and able to perform under pressure. Qualification: Matric required. A relevant tertiary qualification\/diploma in Sales, Marketing or Finance would be advantageous. Additional: A valid driver's licence and own vehicle are required.
