About the role

The Product Manager will take full ownership of two of our health solutions that improve and extend access to health services throughout Africa. Our health solutions are currently impacting more than 22 million patients across Africa. You could be playing a valuable part in our impact.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for protecting the WHY, understanding the WHAT, and guiding the HOW of your product. More specifically, this role involves identifying opportunities and developing proposals for new features, facilitating the product forum to prioritize features, managing the product roadmap, scheduling deliverables for and managing the development team, monitoring deployments, ensuring that the product addresses clients’ needs, and driving user adoption. You will be reporting to the COO.

You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills to engage with all the various stakeholders, have good project management skills, be attentive to details and have a passion to improve healthcare service-delivery in Africa.

What you need

• 4+ years’ experience in managing software development with supervisory responsibilities
• Bachelor’s degree
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Personal attributes:

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Insight and a passion for technology
