Purpose of the role:
- We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to provide guidance in managing and prioritising the team backlog; supporting the team in delivering value to our clients, as well as engaging effectively with our clientsâ€™ requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in an IT related qualification
- Agile training and certification
- At least 5 years in a product owner or similar role
- An IT technical background is advantageous
- Life insurance background
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholder
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Refining of backlog, with input from the team
- Translate customerâ€™s needs to the team
- Mentor and transfer knowledge regarding standards / best practices especially while doing reviews
- Drive efficiency in customers' business processes
- Documenting the content of proposals (with input from the team and other experts in the business):1. Solution 2. Define the business value 3. Estimated effort
- Creation and enhancement of the companyâ€™s training content
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with customers, together with the Account Managers
- Maintain client solution knowledge base
