SUMMARY:
A fast-growing and innovative software development house is looking for a highly driven Product Owner to join their team and play a key role in shaping the future of their product offering.

This is not your typical Product Owner role — it’s suited to someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for innovation, and the ability to take products from concept through to successful market delivery.

POSITION INFO:

Role Overview

You will be at the heart of the product function, driving the vision, strategy, and execution of cutting-edge solutions. Working closely with engineering and cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure products are not only technically sound but also aligned to market needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Define and drive a compelling product vision and roadmap aligned to business goals
Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify new opportunities
Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, and business teams
Own and prioritise the product backlog within an Agile environment
Engage stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure alignment
Champion a customer-centric approach, improving user experience and solving real problems
Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement
Track and measure product success using KPIs and data-driven insights

Key Requirements

3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner or similar role
Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive ideas from concept to launch
Proven experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong customer focus with the ability to translate insights into product improvements
Solid technical understanding and experience working closely with engineering teams
Data-driven approach with strong analytical thinking
Collaborative, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

Background in startups or high-growth environments
Product Owner certifications (e.g., Scrum.org)
Experience with UX/UI principles and tools like Figma
Strong working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Understanding of CI/CD and the software development lifecycle
Ability to interpret technical architectures at a high level
MBA or similar qualification advantageous
