Production Administrator

SUMMARY:
Our client is a leading organization in the engineering and manufacturing sector, and they are seeking to appoint a Production Administrator to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Matric Certificate / Grade 12.
• 3 - 3 years relevant working experience.
• Computer literacy.
• Experience with an ERP system (Syspro).
• Own reliable transport.
• Must be able to work under pressure and have leadership skills.
• Bilingual (English and Afrikaans).
• Excellent time management and administration skills.

• Compile productivity reports and analyse limitations across all production departments.
• Capture and analyse HT Line Control chart scrap per lift number, strip steel QC and tooling scrap per lift number and shift rosters and meters per man hour.
• Capturing and analysing auger almen test reports and ILAC tension tests, HT line and corner unit data, daily scraps, non-standard auger/flat wire, and paint/solvent usage with graph creation p
• Capturing production data and figures.
• Monitoring consumable usage and capture OEE in absence of the capturer.
• Compile OEE reports and charts for all departments including machine efficiency, operator performance per shift, units produced per shift and scraps produced per shift.
• Compile downtime and non-conformance analysis.
• Preparation of monthly production reports and scrap usage.
• Loading and verification of production requisitions on Syspro.
• Capturing HT line, link chain, CNC jobs, non-conformances, job entering, issues, receipts, closures, CP and CU jobs and pallet builders.
• Capturing of WIP, inventory queries, imports, movements, issues, corner unit parts and zinc plating data.
• Compile management and production meeting reports.
• Prepare agendas and take minutes of meetings.
• Complete production computer checklists.
• Assist with stock take sheets and related administration.
• Daily cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials.
• Issue job tracking cards per machine.
• Transfer goods from CNC to stores.
• Capture machine downtimes.
• Compile CNC-specific OEE analysis.
