Client is a branding and marketing specialist, focusing on: Digital Printing, Dye Sublimation, Promotional goods, fabrication etc. They are looking for someone to run the production and manage the production team.

POSITION INFO:

Client is a branding and marketing specialist, focusing on: Digital Printing, Dye Sublimation, Promotional goods, fabrication etc. They are looking for someone to run the production and manage the production team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include;

Information Flow: Ensure that all relevant job information is shared effectively and timeously between different departments.
Conflict Resolution: Help resolve any conflicts, concerns or issues that potentially may arise between different departments or within the job scope. Adhering to past problem resolutions are a must unless improvement can be found.
Coordination: Coordinate requirements, facility capacity, and schedules to ensure that the production process runs smoothly.
Documentation: Create, maintain and organise documentation related to the production, ensuring that all parties have access to the necessary information. This includes; waste reports, production progress updates, material requirements, tool and consumable requirements, cost reconciliations and information storage.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Must have Matric
Production qualification is an advantage
3 to 5 years experience working in a similar role
Applicants should be technically minded with experience in manufacturing processes involving raw materials.
This position calls for individuals who can handle a chaotic environment while maintaining a constant communication flow between production departments in order to maintain a smooth factory operation.
Position also expects that the individual has strong quality demands and a strict adherence to customer requirements, corporate identity, and uncompromising when meeting deadlines and monitoring materials.
A previous history of working within branding and design industries with design knowledge is a major plus.
The position involves communicating and passing on correct and pertinent information to multiple production departments efficiently, monitoring production progress in order to ensure correct and timeous product completion. Instilling a sense of coordination between departments is essential
