SUMMARY:
Seeking a Production Foreman for a Mill. A tertiary qualification essential, with at least 3 years experience in a similar environment.
POSITION INFO:
Duties:
- Manage production efficiencies for the shifts.
- Monitor and ensure that trucks are load within the allotted time, and with the correct type and tonnage of feed.
- Ensure that the factory runs at the optimum up-time by timeously attending to production delays.
- Manage staff on shift by training and maintain a high level of morale and discipline.
- Plan and execute production plans to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Assist the Quality Controller with the approval of incoming materials, by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials
