Production Manager

SUMMARY:
Exciting opportunity for experienced Production Manager in Bloemfontein.

POSITION INFO:

Our client is currently looking for a Production Manager for their factory in Bloemfontein. Their 3 oven factory in Bloemfontein serves clients in five provinces in South Africa (Northern Cape, Eastern Cape, Western Cape, North West and the Free State) as well as Lesotho.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 and/or Technical Certificate
• Engineering Artisanship and Computer skills would be beneficial   
• Production Management experience essential

The Production/Mills Manager is expected to carry out the following duties,

• Oversee production operations to guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organising the workflow
• Ensure good quality products adhere to ARMSA and/or Agriment SA standards
• Responsible for effectively securing the property, personnel and products
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and environmental legislation at the factory
• Maintenance of buildings, equipment and movable property of the company on site
• Planning of shifts and effective management of employees
• Oversee the implementation of optimal corporate, team and individual performance
• Appropriate staffing levels maintained throughout the Factory (Production site)
